77 Hudson

Jersey City, NJ

DESCRIPTION

Hudson Greene is one of the largest mixed use developments in New Jersey. Construction consists of two 50 story, 981 unit residential towers, a 10 story, 1000 car garage, and a 10,000 SF ground floor area for high-end retail space. The entire project totals 1.5 million SF on the Jersey City waterfront. The concrete cast-in-place structure supported at grade by massive grade beams and pile caps and thousands of 20-30 foot deep piles, added to one of the most complex single structural packages awarded in Jersey City. The towers contain both condominium and rental apartments, all outfitted with floor to ceiling curtain wall, hard wood flooring, marble bathrooms, European-style kitchens, and high-end appliances. There also fitness centers, saunas, private theater rooms, virtual golf, cafes, libraries, business centers, and an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool. Equity Residential owns one tower, while K. Hovnavian owns the other, so Hunter Roberts had to develop and employ meticulous communication strategies in order to keep all parties up to date with information and fulfill the goals of two separate clients.
