Director, Business Development

PROJECT ROLE

In his role as Director Business Development and along with leading the Marketing Department, Andrew is responsible for identifying potential clients and projects, developing and maintaining those relationships, and organizing an overall business strategy for the New York area. Andrew prepares and executes business development action plans for specific target markets along with identifying and tracking project leads, constantly comparing them back to Hunter Roberts’ Annual Sales plan. His responsibilities also include coordinating both pre-construction activities and contract negotiations through the final execution of each project. Andrew also addresses client’s needs prior to contract execution by providing specific project planning and procurement advice for prospective and current customers.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Andrew previously held the role as Director Estimating for Hunter Roberts, managing a staff of over twelve employees. Previous to Hunter Roberts, he worked as a Senior Estimator in pre-construction, and handled a variety of multi-million dollar projects in the commercial, healthcare, aviation, and education sectors for the nation’s largest builder. He was also a Project Engineer and Estimator for a similar organization, responsible for pre-construction projects including estimating and bidding activities, GMP and Lump Sum bids.
